•ATTENDANCE POLICY FOR EXCUSED AND UNEXCUSED ABSENCES
•Parents or guardians are to report absences in the form of a note or send an email to La Cueva (HOME PAGE "ABSENCE FORM")  Students are to submit parent/guardian written confirmation to the Attendance Office upon returning to school.  Failure to do so within two (2) school days upon returning to school will result in an unexcused absence.  The note/email should include the following:

•Student Name and ID Number
•Date/s of student absence
•Reason for student absence (refer to APS Student Handbook for list of reasons excusing student absences)
•Parent signature (email address) and daytime phone number
PLEASE GO TO THE HOME PAGE (LEFT SIDE) AND CLICK ON THE "ABSENCE FORM" BUTTON.
Follow the procedures (Fill out form completely) and it will automatically submit your Reason for an EXCUSED ABSENCE to the attendance off.
THIS FORM IS NOT FOR CHECKING A STUDENT OUT OF SCHOOL FOR DOCTORS, DENTAL, OR OTHER APPOINTMENTS.
